Mixed media assemblage constructed for my mentor, Gerald Hoepfner a world renown painting conservator. He was born in Montana and helped provide for his family through fly fishing and hunting. Gerald’s artwork is heavily influenced by Buddhism and Japanese culture. His wife is an expert on Renaissance art. Included in this piece you will find a buddha, baby Jesus in a pod, a bullet casing, a carved deer vertebra, a Buddhist prayer bead necklace, pheasant feathers, cobalt glass and gold leaf.
